OUR GUIDE BOOK SERIES

We currently publish three series of guide books, all with an emphasis on the art, history and culture of the destination:

Blue Guides, our leading series, have been setting the standard for cultural guide books since the Scottish Muirhead brothers left Karl Baedeker's guide book business, bought the rights to Murray's Handbooks and launched their own guides in the early decades of the twentieth century.

Visible Cities are slimmer, colourful guides, still rich in cultural detail and anecdote.

art/shop/eat guides are small format guides for shorter visits concentrating on . . . you can probably guess!
