FLORENCE: WHAT TO EAT AND WHERE

These are the Blue Guides Recommended restaurants in Blue Guide Florence:

I Raddi

Restaurant
Florence, Italy
Via dell’Ardiglione 47 (off Via de’ Serragli)
T: 055 211072
Tucked away in a very quiet street in the Oltrarno. At lunchtime you can choose a dish for just Eur2.00 (with the addition of a cover charge and wine) and in the evenings (but not on Fri or weekends) there is a dinner menu for just Eur16.00, all included. Typical good Tuscan fare as well as unusual dishes invented by the chef. Delicious desserts. The wine is served directly from the vat by the door. It has just one well-designed room (on two levels and with annexes) which is comfortable and has a very pleasant, spacious feel to it. It can be very busy so it is advisable to book. This is a place much frequented by Florentines and is an excellent choice if you want a very reasonable quick simple meal, or wish to take your time over a more elaborate one.Closed Sun.
