Black Cultural Archives is principally an archive and library (open by appointment), which was established in 1981 as a historical documentation centre for London’s black community. Its publication and education programmes and series of exhibitions focus on the history, culture and art of black people in Britain. The ultimate aim is to establish a museum of black history in Britain. |
